Junshi Biosciences Licenses Roconkibart to Fosun Wanbang for Greater China

Junshi Biosciences and Fosun Wanbang have entered into a licensing collaboration for roconkibart, an IL-17A inhibitor, across the Greater China Region.

Under the agreement, Fosun Wanbang will assume development and commercialization responsibilities for the asset in the designated territory. The deal signals Junshi's strategy to partner with established regional players to accelerate market penetration in Greater China, while Fosun Wanbang expands its immunology portfolio with a late-stage biologic candidate.

Roconkibart targets IL-17A, a validated cytokine pathway implicated in inflammatory and autoimmune disorders. The IL-17A inhibitor class has demonstrated clinical utility across multiple indications, positioning the asset within a competitive but established therapeutic category. Terms of the agreement, including financial consideration, milestone obligations, and royalty structures, were not disclosed.

For Junshi Biosciences, the collaboration addresses execution risk in a competitive market while securing upfront capital and milestone payments.
